How does Habitants work?
Each habit is a crystal jewel that fills with one tap. Reach your daily (or weekly) target and the jewel reads as done. One tap counts for you everywhere — including any group that shares the habit. A long‑press on a jewel opens more options (log for a group, undo, log earlier, edit, delete).
What’s free, and what’s in Habitants Pro?
Habit tracking, jewels, groups, reminders, XP, and badges are free. Habitants Pro unlocks the AI helpers — habit suggestions from a goal, weekly and monthly recaps, smart reminder copy and timing, group digests — and sending group nudges.
How do reminders work? I’m not getting them.
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. If they’re not arriving:
- Make sure notifications are enabled: iOS Settings → Habitants → Notifications.
- Check the reminder’s time and selected days in the habit’s reminder screen.
- Turn off any Focus/Do Not Disturb that might be silencing them.
How do groups and invite links work?
Create a group (or a 1‑on‑1 partner), then share its invite code or link. When your friend opens the link on their iPhone, it takes them straight into the join screen — or to the App Store to download Habitants first. You can also enter a code manually under the Groups tab.
What is Ant?
Ant is your in‑app habit partner. Tell Ant a goal and it breaks it into small habits with a cue, an if‑then plan, and a reminder, then writes encouraging nudges and celebrates your bounce‑backs. AI suggestions are helpful starting points — feel free to edit anything.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Cancel anytime: iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Habitants → Cancel. You’ll keep Pro until the end of the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I restore a purchase?
On the Habitants paywall, tap Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
Is my data private?
Yes. We don’t sell your data or use ad trackers, and reminders stay on your device. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, habits, history, groups you created, and progress — it can’t be undone. You can also email contact@habitants.app and we’ll do it for you.
How do I turn off smart nudges?
Open the app’s settings and toggle smart nudges off. You can also set quiet hours, or disable all notifications in iOS Settings. We treat turning nudges off as a clear “no” and respect it.
